“ My brother and I live out of state so we weren't able to help mom on a daily basis. She resisted moving to our homes and resisted moving into a senior retirement apartment. Seniors helping seniors allowed my mother to remain in her home that she has lived in for over 50 years. A caregiver would come over 3 times a week to help her with her ADL's, do laundry and light housekeeping, take her to her doctors appointment, go grocery shopping for her and in the spring cleaned out her garden. Without this service my mother would've been placed in a nursing home. I found them extremely helpful and kind. ”
